Quality Time Together

It's midnight and I should be in bed sleeping, but you are awake and want me to be up with you. You are usually awake sometime between 10 and 12 at night and stay awake for 1 or 2 hours. I love being up with you though. You aren't awake much during the day yet, and I love when I get to see your cute eyes, and I love when you stare at me like you are memorizing my face. When you are awake at this time you rarely make a peep...you just like to look around. You still have those bright red rings around your irises, and the doctors say that they will go away, but they still don't look any better than they did the day you were born, so I hope that there is nothing wrong.
On Monday we went on our first outing just the two of us. It was just a quick trip to the nail salon, but it was so nice for me to get out, and you did so good...you slept the whole time. Daddy was proud of me for getting out and being "brave" enough to take you with me. We got out again today when we went on our traitional wednesay lunch outing with Grandma Bernadine, Kim, Robb, Mya, Amanda, Grandma Patti, and even Mr. Bruce Crockett came. Then we took a quick trip to wal mart. It felt nice to be out of the house and doing something productive. You were great and again, slept through the whole trip.
You have fallen asleep now, sp I think I'll go and try to get a quick shut eye in before you wake up in an hour and are ready for more food and a clean diaper.
