2nd Ultrasound
We had our 2nd ultrasound on Tuesday (July 28th), and to be honest daddy and I were a little dissapointed. It only lasted about 15 minuets and we didn't get to see you for very long. They just took some measurments and sent us on our way...we didn't even get any new pictures! But oh well...we did get to see you for a second and you have grown so much! The ultrasound tech said everything including the fluid is looking good, but that Dr. Hall would be calling to give us all the details...so we are still waiting on his call.

i remember my first non-stress test and fluid check ultrasound. i'm sitting here as nervous as can be not really knowing what to expect or whats wrong and the nurse looks at me as stern as can be and said, i'm not here to show you your baby. i am here to check the fluid level. she then turned the monitor away from me, measured the fluid level, and was done. i about died! to be so close to seeing the baby and not being able to! i had a different nurse every other time after that and she would always take a few mins to show me madilyn's face. oh my. i'm so glad though that everything looked good!
